The Second Sunday of each month we have an alternative worship service during our 11:00 a.m. worship. The service is designed by our CrossRoads at Chestnut Ridge worship and is thematic in nature. The CrossRoads services transcend simple labels such as traditional or contemporary, and instead seeks to place us at the CrossRoads of our faith and everyday living. The services seek to challenge us to think deeper, and to reflect upon our experience of the love of Christ in our daily lives.
May 13: God's Masterpiece
June 10: Church Has Left the Building
July 8: Running the Race
August 12: What Does the Lord Require?

October 14: Open Our Eyes
November 11: Bearing Fruit/Spiritual Gifts
December 9:God's Wisdom vs. Human Wisdom
Make sure you get these dates on the calendar and if a theme appeals to you, let one of the CrossRoads team members know and we will make sure you get involved in planning that particular service!

CrossRoads Community Garden Update
Our Community Garden is all full for this growing season, and we are thankful for all those who have shown interest. We have expanded the garden up to 62 beds, and our community has responded with overwhelming enthusiasm. In the near future we will add a permanent compost pile, and shed for our gardeners to enjoy.
The next big event for the garden is Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. We will host the Cobb County Master Gardeners annual plant sale and we will be one of the featured gardens on the 2012 Through the Gate Garden Tour. We are proud to be working with our Master Gardeners and we are excited to host this exciting event.
