The CrossRoads @ Chestnut Ridge worship team met this past Sunday and began working on the upcoming year's CrossRoads services. Below you will see the dates and preliminary themes for the CrossRoads Sundays, which are always the second Sunday of the month.

Make sure you get these dates on the calendar and if a theme appeals to you, let one of the CrossRoads team members know and we will make sure you get involved in planning that particular service!

CRCC Board Meeting
The next board meeting at Chestnut Ridge will be this Sunday, January 29th immediately following morning worship. Lunch will be provided, and all board members are asked to attend. The board of CRCC is made up of the President and Vice-President of the congregation, the Treasurer, the Program Coordinator, Two Elder representatives, Two Deacon representatives, and two at-large representatives. Please pray for our board as they conduct the business of CRCC!

This coming Sunday is January 29th, the Fourth Sunday after Epiphany!
Our Lectionary scriptures for this Sunday include Deuteronomy 18:15–20, Psalm 111, 1 Corinthians 8:1–13, Mark 1:21–28. Come and join us for morning worship!
CrossRoads Community Garden Update
Our Garden has a new name!! The Garden Steering committee decided to rename the garden the CrossRoads Community Garden at their meeting on August 15th.
From watermelons to sweet potatoes, we've had a bountiful crop this year. Irrigation has been installed to the church's plots, and we look forward to expanding watering bibs to the rest of the garden soon. We have hosted a number of informative seminars on garden-related topics, and we are now setting our sites towards transitioning the garden to Fall crops. In just a few days, we will have more plots added thanks to an local Eagle Scout's project. Thank you to all those who have tended plots this summer and who support this ministry of CRCC to our community.
