F.I.S.H. (Fellowship Inspiring and Strengthening Hearts) Ministries
Our small groups (F.I.S.H. Ministries) have gotten off to a good start and individuals seem to be energized as a result of their first several meetings. You can still join any of these and add to the dynamics of the group. Come out and make new friends as you deepen your friendships with those you know.
Youth Group: This group is casual, fun, and designed for the Middle and High School age group. We’re a crazy mix of Bible Study, Games, Service Projects, and What’s on Your Mind conversation. Come see how you can add to the mix! Group Leader: Kelly Corbett
Couples Dinner Group: Looking for a group that enjoys food and good times without breaking the budget? That’s us! Whether we all bring a dish or take turns providing a simple meal, we’re getting together once a month to have fun, make friends and enjoy some time as couples. Group Leader: Kelly Corbett
Prayer Shawl Group: Do you knit, crochet, embroider, or do another type of craft? We’re crafters using our talents to provide reminders of God’s love to those in need of comfort. Our gatherings also include a casual Bible study related to our activity. The knitting Bible study curriculum is entitled, “Knitting Women’s Lives Together, Through the Study of God’s Word.” We meet twice a month.
Group Leader: Becky Stanley
Care Givers Support Group: Are you looking for ideas, prayer and support as you care for aging loved ones? The focus of this group is to find resources and answers to questions regarding support of our loved ones as they become older and fight medical challenges. We are looking into having speakers and tapping other available resources at our monthly meetings. You can join us at any time. Group Leader: Paula Robin
Ladies Who Lunch: Getting together for food and conversation once a month makes for fun fellowship. This idea was suggested for those who would love to meet and socialize with others over lunch. Lunch dates will be on weekdays and weekends alternately so women who work can participate. Group Leader: Kate Decker
